He was predeceased by: his father Donald Cizek; and his stepfather Roger Kabbes. He is survived by: his wife Kate; his children, Laura Gorman (Michael) and Donovan Cizek (Abigail); his granddaughter Mother Helen Kabbes; his siblings, Greg Cizek (Julie), Randal Cizek (Betsy) and Donna Stein (Mark); and his sister-in-law Judy Yates. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and their children.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Park Place Hotel (300 E State St, Traverse City, MI 49684).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cowell Family Cancer Center or to the Traverse City West or Central Athletic Departments in Tom's memory.
