He is survived by: his children, Kim Kowalczyk and Cindy Grantz; his grandsons, Trevor, Nicholas and Collin; and his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Guy and Margaret Starosciak.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
