He was predeceased by: his children, Alicia Sumara, Robert Sumara and Thomas O'Brien; his grandchild Morgan; and his brothers, Walter and Andrew.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Sumara; his sons, Jeffrey O'Brien (Michelle) and John O'Brien; his grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Tyler, Katy, Courtney and Timmy; his great grandchildren, Charles, Kaileigh, Blake, Kasia, Kylie and Zyiere; his siblings, David, Bob, Jerry, Linda, Ann, John, Don and Marilyn; and his siblings-in-law, Mike, Gloria and Pam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
