He was predeceased by: his parents, Drew Nelms and Helen Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Judith Nelms; his children, Mark Nelms (Diane) and Kim Peterson (Greg); his grandson Jacob Joseph Peterson; and his in-laws, George and Sondra Arias.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
