He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Uram and Mary Uram (Nowacki); his brother Mark Uram; and his brothers-in-law, Miles Fitzgerald, Gerry Fitzgerald and Rusty.
He is survived by: his wife Sharen Lee Uram (Fitzgerald); his children, Daniel Uram (Lori) and Julie Missler (Carl); his grandchildren, Chase and Kaitlyn Missler; his sisters, Sandra Janiszewski (late Jay) and Marcia Vyletel (Andrew); and his sister-in-law Barbara Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). An entombment will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Cemetery (18303 Allen Rd, Brownstown Charter Twp, MI 48193).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in George's honor to Mimi's Mission, the Wyandotte Animal Shelter, or the Trenton-Woodhaven Animal Shelter.
