He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Read and Juanita M. Read; and his brothers, John H. and Randy R.. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer DiGiacomo (Chris DiGiacomo) and Timothy Read; his grandchildren, Julianna, Katie, Terry, Gabriel and Tristan; his brother Thomas C. Read; his sister-in-law Laura; and his sisters, Nancy (Phillip) and Deborah (Michel).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the same location.
