She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Plaza and Theresa Plaza; and her siblings, Christine, Delores and Peter.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Sonnenberg; her children, Jared and Erica Sonnenberg; her grandson Brendan Sonnenberg (Emily); and her great grandchild Isla Sonnenberg.
