With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Mottillo (Trenton, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Mottillo and Maria Mottillo (DiLorenzo); his wife Alice [Jodocy] Mottillo; and his siblings, Christine [Mottillo] Valcheff, Anthony Mottillo, Marie [Mottillo] Weir, Angeline [Mottillo] Limber, John Mottillo, Margaret [Mottillo] Schwartz and Gertrude [Mottillo] Rhedmon.
He is survived by: his caregivers, Jenny, Karen and Bill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A rosary was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2565 3rd St, Trenton, MI 48183). A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1400 Wright St, Marquette, MI 49855).
Joe and Alice both loved children, and their favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Accordingly, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St Jude's in Joe's memory.
