We announce the death of Louise Read of Trenton, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her parents, Walter Bates and Mary Jane Bates. She is survived by: her children, David (Jeanne), Laura (Thomas Shonk), Thomas and Jeffrey (Mary); her brother David Bates (Pat); her grandchildren, Kristin (Kodi Sander), Thomas J. Shonk, Grant Read, Nicholas Read (Kylee), Alex Read and Andrew Read; and her great grandchildren, Adley, Ember Sander and Magnolia Read.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (2550 Edsel St, Trenton, MI 48183). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
