He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Schultz and Genevieve Schultz; and his siblings, Mary Wooden (Henry), Carrie Schultz, Shirley Rutherford (Roy) and Patrick Schultz.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Schultz; his children, Melanie Schultz-Schema (Joseph), Tommy Schultz, Jeffery Schultz (Shannon) and Brian Schultz (Michelle); his grandchildren, Cory Schultz and Jocelyn Beuther; his great grandchild Atlas Schultz; and his brother James Schultz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
