She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Johnson; and her sister Janet Baker. She is survived by: her husband Marty Chevela of Royal Oak, MI; her children, Ben Chevela of Royal Oak, MI and Casey Chevela of Madison Heights, MI; her pet Rigby; her father James Johnson of Royal Oak, MI; and her brothers, Kevin Johnson of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Michael Johnson of Redstone, CO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barb's memory may be made to Michigan Humane, 30300 Telegraph Road, Suite 220, Bingham Farms, MI 48025.
