She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles; her children, Chip (Heather), Kim Wilson and Melisa Hammond (Bryant); her grandchildren, Trevor Gibbs (Sarah), Taryn Gibbs (Brandon), Aubrey Sample (Curtis) and Delaney Hammond; and her great grandchildren, Silvia Sample, Allison Gibbs, Adelynn Gibbs, Ashton Gibbs, Archer Gibbs, Hadley Lynch, Henrick Lynch, Landon Ledford and Liam Ledford.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial tributes to Red Run Evans Scholars or Women's Western Golf Foundation.
