It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dempsey Ottis Cabe of Troy, Michigan, born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Cabe; his children, Roger Cabe (Christine) and Rachel McCoy (Donald); his grandchildren, Justin Cabe (Amy), Christopher Cabe (Patcharin), Jessica Grima (Stephen), Amanda Coyne (Corey) and Eric McCoy (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Evelyn, Robert Grima, Lily, Emma, Abby, Brendan Cabe, Raelynn Coyne and Finnegan McCoy; and his siblings, Rhmer, Winston, Helen, Carlin, Lillian, Marvin and Dautry.
