He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Burzynski and Genevieve Burzynski (Delikat); his siblings, Priscilla MacNeill (late Dennis) and Leonard Burzynski; and his niece Doreen Manoloff (MacNeill).
He is survived by: his wife Janine Burzynski (Bak); his children, Yvette Berman (Kevin Berman), Eric Burzynski, Aaron Burzynski (Andrea) and Angelique Smith (Rick Smith Jr.); his grandchildren, Katryna, Nadia, Jacob, Izabella, Mia, Cooper, Alex, Luke and Gabriel; his niece Lisa MacNeill; and his nephews, Craig MacNeill and Jacob Burzynski. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church (41233 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Parkinson's Foundation.
