He was predeceased by: his sons, Kenneth and Michael; and his siblings, Jesse Hernandez (late Bobbie), Abraham Hernandez (late Keta) and Loretta Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Renee Korhonen (late Rusty), Ronald Hernandez (Angie), Erika Hernandez (Andy Ibarluzea) and Deacon Kevin Hernandez (Susanna); his grandchildren, Jay Korhonen (Allison), Brandon Korhonen (Caroline), Nicholas M Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Eli J Hernandez, Isabel Hernandez, Michael Thiry (Amy), Cayden and Camryn Rudolph; his great grandchild Adalee Hernandez; and his siblings, Beatriz Gutierrez, Richard Hernandez (late Leocadia) and Victor Hernandez (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial tributes are suggested to the Fr. Solanus Casey Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
