She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary "May" Shorthouse and Alexander Shorthouse; and her son Darren. She is survived by: her son Colin; her brother Alan Shorthouse (Leslie); and her nieces, Kelsi and Eryn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Wm Sullivan and Son Funeral Home (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
