Though Gail may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Penfold and Mary Penfold; her husband Harry Showers; and her son-in-law Lynn Trezil. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Trezil (James Long); her granddaughter Kaitlin Trezil; her sister Judy Hawes (Robert); and her niece Carrie Crispin (Raymond).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Michigan Animal Rescue League, Oakland County Animal Shelter, or Abraham Ranch.
