She was predeceased by: her son David Childs (Wendy); and her husband John "Jack" Childs. She is survived by: her family Detroit; her children, Kacy Childs Levin (Mark) and Chris LaValley; her grandchildren, Kyle (Emma), Seth, Brett (Emily), Marissa (Sam), Ian (Emily), Zachary (Alex) and Devyn; and her great grandchildren, Zeke, Zuri, Jack, Lucas, Evie and Fisher.
