He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella McInerney (Clancy) and Martin McInerney of County Clare, Ireland.; his siblings, Mary Cicske (Mike), Thomas McInerney (Jackie), Martin, Hoot McInerney (Pat) and Joann Persico (Rudy); and his granddaughter Hartley.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Colleen Nagle (Robert), Jack Jr. (Kathleen), Mike (Lori), Kitty Dickson (Norman) and Pat; and his grandchildren, Tom (Holly), Devin (Teddy), John (Lydia), Kelsey, Patrick (Kristina), Kara (John), Marty, Michael (Bridgette), Jack, Brenan, Kate, Will and Margaret. He is also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hugo of the Hills - Stone Chapel (2215 Opdyke Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304).
