He is survived by : his spouse Bhanu Shah; his beloved former spouse and best friend Miriam Sata (Clyde Marlin), his daughters Michelle Bedont (Brian) and Monika Sata; his grandson Zachary Sata; his siblings, Bhalchandra "Jim" Sata (Kundan Sata), Navin Sata (Pushpa), Dr. Bhagwati Shah (late Bhagwandas) and Jyoti Lakdawala (Kush); his siblings-in-law, Hasmukh Shah (Niru), Dr. Tara Shah (late Pravin) and Jeanette Wojciechowski; and also Dr. Deepa Parekh (Kamlesh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Donations are accepted in honor of his memory to the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation and the American Diabetes Association.
