John Burns Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of John Burns of Troy, Michigan is shared. John, born on April 29, 1948, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Michael and Eddie. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his daughters, Tracey Larson (Matthew) and Melissa Destross (Scott); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Johnathan, Eden, Taliah and William; and his siblings, Peggy Morgan, Patrick Burns, Dorothy LaMarte (Bruce) and Marilyn Grimes (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Home (1368 N Crooks Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
