He was predeceased by: his brother Frank Gelle (Franca); his parents, Joseph Gelle and Bonnie Gelle; his parents-in-law, George and Marion Langlois; and his son-in-law Keith Allain.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Langlois); his daughters, Lisa Allain and Michelle Sawyers (Patrick); his sister Sarah Mealing (Rod); his siblings-in-law, Jean Parisi (John) and Jim Langlois (Karen); and his aunt Lisa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
