She was predeceased by: her parents, Roald Bruland and Beatrice Bruland; and her brothers, Ronnie Bruland, Dennis Bruland (Ute) and Dwight Bruland.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Kenneth Chambers (Theresa) and Kimberly Krolikowski; her stepchildren, Carol Glenn (Glen), Joe Staten (Candice), Lorie Spencer (John) and Mari Jones (John); and her brother Jeff Bruland (Linda). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial tributes in Joyce's honor are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, an organization close to her heart.
