She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gary Hesse; her children, Angelique Bacon (Matthew) and Nick Hesse (Rita); her grandchildren, Austin, Isaac Hesse and Cayleigh Bacon; and her siblings, Candy Broughton (Ray) and Shelly Rhodes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Laura's name are suggested to the Michigan Humane Society (//http://www.michiganhumane.org), St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
