She was predeceased by: her former husband James; her brothers, William and Charles Mikelait; and her grandson Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Dr. James G. Hudson (Karen), Christine Goodwin (Bruce), Robert Hudson (Jane) and Julie Hudson; her grandchildren, Annemarie, Elaine, Veronica, Jeffrey, Janelle, Stephanie, Lauren and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Arista, Theodore, Ava, Natasha, Charles and August.

Memorial donations in memory of Margaret may be sent to First Presbyterian Church.
