He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Morrison (Wallace) and Colin Morrison; his wife Blanca; his sister Diane Pier; his close friend Thomas Lively; his uncle Marvin Brown; and his aunt Roberta Greene.

He is survived by: his children, Marvin R. (Nancy), Lori Bjornholm (Gust) and Donna Jackson (Jim); his grandchildren, Nicole, Richard, Katelyn, Matthew of Thomas, CJ, Ashley and Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Layla, Zaine, Ava, Kaylee and Addison.

Donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society in his memory.
