With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Newton Hale in Troy, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray L. Newton, Jr. and Mary D Newton. She is survived by: her husband Richard Gordon Hale; her daughters, Tracey L. Simmet (Lou) and Jennifer H. Ray (Kevin); her grandchildren, Katelyn R. Wood (Daniel) of Leland, NC, Haley P. Burdett (Logan) of Ft Mill, SC, Mackenzie E Ray of Durham, NC and Trevor J Ray of Charlotte, NC; and her brother Terry Newton (Kathy) of Roscommon, MI.. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
