He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Brecht and Mary Brecht; and his brothers, Tom Brecht (Mary Ann), Mark Brecht (Mary) and Greg Brecht (Michelle).
He is survived by: his wife Josetta "JoAnne" Brecht; his children, Jim Brecht (Melissa), Phil Brecht (Nicole), Ellen Jordan (Eric), Greg Zub and Becky Eckstein (Bryan); his grandchildren, Alexis Brecht, Abbie Moore (Matt), Gavin Brecht, James Eckstein, Philip Brecht, Avery Brecht, Joseph Zub, Jackson Eckstein, Ava Brecht and Emery Jordan; his sisters, Geraldine Brecht and Ann Stock (Tom); and his friend Bailey. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
