Ronald Alwyn Dawson Obituary

Ronald A. Dawson passed away on January 31, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia. He is survived by his wife Ethel May Dawson (Graham), his son Ronald W. Dawson (Nancy M. Dawson), granddaughter Rachel M. Wozniak (David), and great grandsons David J.R. and Ronald J. Wozniak. His two brothers, Eric G. and Larry J. Dawson, preceded him in death. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Ron often quoted various scripture passages and trusted in God's word. He loved the Lord and was ready to share his faith with everyone. He deeply loved his granddaughter and was very proud of her. He also loved his two great grandsons immensely.

Ron worked for Coco-Cola Company for 38 years as a truck mechanic. He enjoyed building automobiles. He built a 1953 Willys with his son, Ronald. He would help anyone who needed it.

Visitation for Ron will be Friday, February 4 from 2:00pm-8:00pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Directors, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, 48084. The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022, time pending, at A.J. Desmond & Sons, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, 48084. Interment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East following the service.
