He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Cromie and Geraline Cromie; his pets, Mork and Mindy; his wife Rosemary; his stepchildren, Sharon Fitzpatrick, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Frederick Fitzpatrick; and his nephews, Norman Kennedy (Adam) and Patrick Wetherwax (Beth).

“We are deeply saddened by Ron's passing. Arlene and I last saw Ron and Rosemay a couple of years ago, along with Leo and Laura Kowalyk in Traverse City on a beautiful October day.
