He was predeceased by: his brother Karl (Irene). He is survived by: his children, Michael (Karin) and Ursula; his grandchildren, Charlotte Shafter (Otto) and Lenny; his great grandchild George Thomas Shafter; and his brothers, Ted and Dave.
