He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abdulahad Toma Shango and Meriam Shango; his children, Nofel Shango (Mandi), Eva Shango (Amar), Flora Poota (Steve) and Amar Shango (Amanda); and his siblings, Sharif, Adel, Yonan, Masoud, Raad, Karim, Diya, Hisham, Wadia, Saada and Khalousa. He was also cherished by 13 beautiful grandchildren.
