It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley M. Jurek of Troy, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Tyranski and Regina Tyranski; her husband Frank; her sister Bernadine; her grandson Steven; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Burdo Jurek.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark Jurek (Jennifer), Daniel Jurek (Ann-Marie) and Scott Jurek (Kandi); her grandchildren, Keith, Renee, Samuel, Dylan and Ryan; and her sister Patricia Karpowicz.
