Susan Girard Obituary

Susan Girard, age 81, passed away on January 5, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1939 in Pontiac to Wayne Gillespie and Annie Laughton. Susan retired from K-Mart Corporation in Troy where she worked as an accountant. She loved music, with her tastes spanning from Motown to Pete Fountain and Big Band music. Susan liked working on jigsaw puzzles, researching genealogy and was a fan of classic cars, collecting Woodward Dream Cruise memorabilia over the years.

Everyone that knew Susan was aware of her love of animals, especially her shelties, Josh, Quinn and Treve. Dearest lifelong friend of Cassie Mueller. Loving mother of Michael (Denese) Girard, Barbara (Joe) Auito, Kevin (Deann) Girard and Scott (Saori) Girard. Proud grandmother of Ryan (Melissa) Auito, Christopher Auito, Mathew (Kim) Girard, Nick Girard, Kane Girard and great grandmother of Joey Auito, Savannah Auito, Shelby Auito, Keira Auito and Mathew Girard.
