He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hussar and Margaret Hussar; his significant other Ann Woernle; his children, Timothy Scott Hussar (Jane) and Robin Goldberg (Josh); his grandchildren, Ari Goldberg, Molly Hussar, Oliver Goldberg and Benjamin Hussar; and his siblings, Cynthia Fabian (late Bob), Marian "Mimi" Olczak (late Andy), Abigail "Abbey" Tillison (John) and John Hussar. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
