She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Minor and Goldie Minor; her husband Melvin Leroy Caldwell, Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Stanzak (late Ted) and Harold Minor.

She is survived by : her children, Dan Caldwell (Vicki), Neoma Fultz, Marie Nicholas (Russell), Melvin Leroy Caldwell Jr., Janet Conrad (Duane), Robert Caldwell (Tina), Glen Caldwell (Val) and John Caldwell; her grandchildren, Kristina Hoover, Justin Caldwell (Jodi), Jennifer Hartman (Chris), Amanda Caster (Ryan), Brandon Nicholas (Meg), Tammie Banks, Corey Caldwell (Jamie), Hollie Frawley (Matt), Brandy, Robert Caldwell, Danielle Caldwell, Jenna Mannino (Vince), Joey Gingiloski and Travis Summut; her great grandchildren, Dane, Nash, Rowan, Christopher, Jaycee, Juliette, Cooper, Autumn, Noah, Dominic, Avery, Addison, Carter, Grace, Haylee and Kaiden; and her sisters, Mary Owens (late James) and Connie Smith (late Smitty). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Price Chapel (3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
