He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Swink Sr. and Landa Goethe Swink; his parents-in-law, Carl and Margaret Lamparter; and his grandson William "Chandler" Swink.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Swink; his children, Carolyn O'Neill, Bill Swink (Nancy), Mike Swink (Kelley Wolanzyk) and Sharyn "Shari" Dennis (Mike); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Ryan O'Neill, Rachel Swink, Michael "Tyler", Alexis Swink, Michael, Tenley and Laityn Dennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He worked out religiously at Beaumont Health (walking the track and rowing) until Covid struck, it closed, and his body started to slowly shut down and cancer really ravaged his body.
