He is survived by: his stepchild Terry Rachfal; his sibling's children, Michael Therkalsen, Gregg Therkalsen, Stephen Therkalsen and Mary Mickus; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, James Therkalsen, Scott Therkalsen, Kelly Therkalsen, Eric Therkalsen, Michael Therkalsen, Ryan Therkalsen, Jennifer Townsend, Kyle Therkalsen and Zach Mickus.
