It is with sadness that the passing of William David Vanderhoef of Troy, Michigan is shared. William, born on June 2, 1959, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah; his children, Matthew Vanderhoef (Jessica), Eric Vanderhoef (Trudie) and Ryan Vanderhoef; his grandchildren, Sebastian and Victoria Vanderhoef; his sister Janet Slowik (Christopher); and his parents, William Vanderhoef and Norma Vanderhoef-Schwinke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (1800 W Maple Rd, Birmingham, MI 48009). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
