Zabbel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Zabbel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her former spouse Adnan Sabbagh; and her siblings, Hazem Darzi and Warkis Darzi. She is survived by: her son Kahtan Sabbagh; her husband Bashar Hasso; and her grandchildren, Noorhan, Sinan Sabbagh, Sarah Sabbagh, Ameen and Rennie Hasso.

A Mass was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Toma Syriac Catholic Church (25600 Drake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48335). A burial was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A reception was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St George Orthodox Church/ Hall (2160 E Maple Rd, Troy, MI 48083).
