He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thorwald and Helena Elsa Otberg (Engler); and his brother Arden Otberg. He is survived by: his wife Eva Jeanette Alsip; his children, Ramona Gorman of Clare, Arvid Otberg (Michele) of Pinckney and Allen Otberg (Laurie) of Indianapolis; and his sister Faye Bartrand (Bernie) of Tustin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church.
