He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ray and Maude Grace Smith (Zeitz); his granddaughter Amanda Snyder; and his siblings, Gladys, Margaret, Lester, Walter and Lois.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Suzette Boice of Cadillac, Rod Smith (Kim) of Florida, Eric Smith (Tommi) of Cadillac, Ken Snyder of Tustin, Kevin Snyder (Raquel) of Tustin and Kurt Snyder (Miranda) of Tustin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
