He is survived by: his wife Sharon Black; his daughters, Laura Shanks (Patrick) and Lisa Weaver (Andy); and his grandchildren, Michael, Evan, Hayden, Andrew and Lillian.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services (205 E Cass St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
