He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Cool and Jennie Cool (Jensen); his wife Margaret Ann Edstrom; his daughter Mary; and his siblings, Lloyd "Ron" Cool, Alice Cool, Doris Jenter, Lois Wengelewski, Phyllis Mattzela and Janice Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Seavey (James) of Leroy and JoAnn Connor (Michael) of Hessel; his grandchildren, Alexandra "Lexie" Connor, Olivia Connor and Zachary Connor; his brother Bruce "Skip" Cool (Diane) of Leroy; and his brother-in-law Pete Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pine River Historical Society.
