He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" Derby and Frances Derby (Lods); his brothers, Bob, Don and Mike Derby; and his brother-in-law Louis Middlecamp.
He is survived by : his wife Donna Mae Middlecamp; his son Ty Derby of Holton; his grandsons, Lars Derby (Brenda) and Maeson Derby; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Ethan and Elana; and his brother Ken Derby (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
