He is survived by: his spouse Kimba Aue; his close friend Kimba Root of Lakewood Club; his children, Jeff Root (Carla) of Lakewood, Jerry Root (Lorraine) of Lakewood, Renee Richards (Eric) of Montague and Sylvia Lebbert (Nick) of Lakewood; his siblings, Jerry Root (Nancy) of Escanaba, Roz Davis (Bill) of Whitehall and Debbie Houtteman (Hank) of Lakewood; and his grandchildren, Cristy, Cainan, Spencer (Jamie), Anthony (Heather), Serena, Charlie (Stephanie), Jonathan (Karie), Sarah, Grace, LeAnna, Adrianna and Devin (Michelle). He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 special nephews.
