He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Grifka and Agnes Grifka (Pionk); his wife Bertha Grifka (Smalley); his son David; his granddaughter Hannah Grifka; and his siblings, Ervin Grifka, Jerry Grifka, Lillian Krug, Bernadene Jansen, Gloria Schelke and Mike Grifka.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Grifka, Denise Staggs (Gary), Duane Grifka (Helen) and Kevin Grifka (Shelly); his grandchildren, Clint Cadieux, Heather Walk (Seth), Burt Grifka (Kelsey), Evan Grifka (Maddie), Aaron Grifka, Jack Grifka (Addison) and Josie Grifka (Trevor); his siblings, Stacia Fisher, Linda Tate and William Grifka (Bill); and his sister-in-law Helen Grifka. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
The family asks that any donation be sent to St. Jude Hospital.
