He is survived by: his children, Christy Brown (Jason) of Battle Creek, Lee Eyre, Jr. (Beth) of Union City and Jaylyn Eyre of Union City; his mother Elizabeth DeMerrell of Climax; his siblings, Bill Eyre of Climax and Becki DeMerrell of Climax; his brother-in-law Charles Smith of Dowling; and his grandchildren, Codi Pluymers, Jr., Alex Boyer, Lauren Boyer and Zoe Haley. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation (1276 Tate Trl, Union City, MI 49094).
