He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Krieg and Lillian Krieg (Loutzenhiger); his wife Bessie Lea Rogers; his stepfather Silvester "Si" Fredericks; and his siblings, Donald Krieg, Eloise Alexander, Jerry Krieg, Darlene Bronson, Darrell Krieg and Lois Kenyon.
He is survived by: his son Rex Krieg, Jr. of Union City; his stepchildren, Charles "Chuck" Jenkins of Union City, Tammy English of Athens and Mary Bauer of Union City; and his grandchildren, Megan Hildreth, Michael Holbrook of Kandie Jenkins, J. J, Burlingame, Chris Baumeister, Ryan Jenkins, Ryan Shane and Michelle Jenkins. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
