He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Nuter and Julia Nuter (Kosik); his siblings, Jimmy, John Nuter and Eleanor Cibula; and his wife Elizabeth Potokar (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon, Jeff (Kris), Jana and Jimmy (Kari McCluskey); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patrick, Katherine, Christine, Mary Ellen, Anne Marie and Bridget; and his brother Dan.
